Cyclic or any other exercises can trigger the development of acidosis. Depth of acidosis is proportional to the intensity and anaerobic exercise and is inversely proportional to (at a standard load) the level of athletic development.
At the same time more highly trained athletes can perform the work at a higher load, more intensity and reach deeper acidosis than sportsmen with lower levels of physical development/
Answer (pH shift) depends on the level of physical development of the athlete, intensity, time and load capacity. Absolutely different results may be after a standard load or load to failure, moderate or submaximal load
