If a CVD reactor were used to oxidize wafers by introduce O2 rather than SiH4 (or another Si gas source). SiO2 will grow on both sides of the wafer. Why does SiO2 grows on both sides and epi silicon layer only only on the topside?
I need to see my TiO2 NW (10nm diam * 10 um length) under CLSM for which I intend to coat the with Black Dye. What is the best way to do it?

Not in the mathematical sense but in terms of a solution. Is it a property of the solution or the material it goes through? Thanks
