We are looking for a package or independent software that can conduct cumulative effects assessments. Can anyone recommend a software or package. We were interested in using Alces but are unsure if this online program is still operational.
The specific questions are GIS and spatial and related to understanding the cumulative effects of roads, forest harvest, burns, pest outbreaks and other impacts on surrounding caribou populations. We have created resource selection functions and connectivity models and have 20 years of GPS collar data describing the relationship between caribou and the changing surroundings. We are looking for the best way to depict, describe and analyze these cumulative effects on caribou across the years.
