CTC-Autosampler for GC: “exception 16” ?

After switching on the Autosampler (Version from Agilent, Firmware 4.1.3) and during staring Cycle Composer or Chemstation the Autosampler will not connect and beeps with error “exception 16” on its hand held display. Checked to connect the computer with an older CTC AS and it worked, cable is also not the problem. Also checked different com ports… no luck. Anyone any idea?
