I am running wrf chem v3.9 model to estimate the PM 2.5 emission from crop burning. is there any specific crop burning emission data global or regional (Southeast Asia) available to assimilate into the model?. All the fire emission data I came across includes all types of fire (Forest fire, grassland etc.,), but I need only emission data from crop burning is that possible?
Hello - I am not sure if I will be of any help, but i Brazil, it used to be common practice to burn sugar cane fields before reaping. Some data is vailable regionally - more specifically in the state of Sao Paulo. The data is official, and comprised by the federal agency EMBRAPA.
