How effective is Casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate in the management of post-orthodontic white spot lesions? Do we have strong evidence?
CPP-ACP paste alone does not significantly improve the fluorescence value (ie, the mineral content) of WSLs. Microabrasion treatment with or without CPP-ACP improved the fluorescence and thus reduced WSLs.

Microabrasion followed by long-term daily home application of CCP-ACP may be considered an interesting alternative to the restorative approach for treatment of white spot lesions.
