I don't think Digital Platforms will take away the jobs from teaching community members for two reasons:

1. Numerous educational courses cannot be given online, and

2. The online courses can be given mostly be the respective teaching community members since they are the ones who know best about the subjects.

Sathish Kumar Chandrasegaran Face-to-face and online teaching will continue to exist side by side post-COVID -19. What educators need to do is to reskill and upskill themselves. I believe teaching face to face and teaching online is different, and therefore requires that the educator is well versed in the three generations of education pedagogy (Anderson and Dron, 2011), and their techniques and strategies.

I don't think in any situation the effectiveness & the attraction of face to face learning would be less. The face to face learning creates the effective teaching - learning environment. But at the same time through virtual platform student can reach the whole world. So both the mode can be adopted for effective learning.

It is too depressing matter to say that the disaster of COVID-19 became a critical turning point in the history of the world, especially in developing countries. About one year of online learning is a disaster for this generation. I wish we would return back to face-to-face education. I know that we don't have any other alternatives. From my point of view, the education system is about collapsing! Let me express that in the following points:

• There are many black offices for solving the exams and assignments for the students. To diminish cheating, exams must be inside scientific institutes like universities.
• Transforming science into business is fully incompatible with human values and, in turn, opens the blackmail doors.
• e-learning cannot be a substitute for face-to-face learning. online-learning is like swimming without water.
• I want to emphasize that the Internet's networking infrastructure is not suitable for most developing countries in terms of speed and prices. They are behind in their infrastructure. We can observe this easily in these current days of covid-19.

Digital learning might snatch jobs from the teachers of social sciences but natural sciences like IT, Computer, Physics, Math, Statistics, and other sciences still require face-to-face learning.

The need of the hour created by COVID-19 was to innovate and implement alternative educational system and assessment strategies. The Pandemic had, ironically, provided the world with an opportunity to pave the way for introducing digital learning. It has become a reality that has to be faced, especially by third-world countries that felt they would one day be forced into the implementation of technology into the teaching process.

I think distance education will not be permanent. We are very tired of the pandemic and it is not a substitute for face-to-face training. However, the distance education opportunities will deeply affect the education systems and paradigms, so nothing will be the same as before. At least to me. For example, we learned that we don't need to get together to hold a meeting.

We all suffering(Students and Teachers) from current circumstances due to COVID-19. It should not be consider the permanent solution or future approach for

Teaching- learning process, because it is not too much effective. How a lab work can be carried out online. Similarly how surgery will be taught online. So, it is crystal clear that " No knowledge without a college."

so the world has to come to its original mode of imparting education, i.e. face to face communication.

I believe not because no matter the level of technology involved a human is needed to curate learning material for the students based on personal competencies. Within the teaching-learning process, a teacher is involved with many courses of learning like counseling, providing a safe environment, learning through play, ensuring peer interaction, etc. Learning in the same physical space has its own ‘charm’ which can not be replaced.

I think that online and regular tuition will be supplemented and both will be used. In any case, it is not possible to teach practical training online. How to learn planing through online carpenters? How to teach electricians to connect wires correctly? How to teach nurses to apply medication? In practical teaching, the teaching must be face to face, the student must be able to see what the hands are doing, the student must be able to practice and practice. In my opinion, students have to go back to school and their class.

The generations to come are getting worse, no offense. It all comes down to technology. Very few books are read and used.

From personal experience, I think that the platform is a good means of communication, but the response of students is very small and there is not enough interest. I think the situation requires the use of a platform, but the “living word” cannot replace anything!
