Respected Scientists, I'm studying doctoral in Infection and Immunity in China. I'm here since the start of the epidemic to till now. One thing I noted here was the response from the public here. Everyone seemed to strictly following the SOPs on individual level. While we are all doing our utmost to seek help from the magic medicine or vaccine to win the battle against this challenging pandemic, the fact that the accomplishment of COVID-19-centered scientific research could not catch up the speed of virus transmission. We still need to rely on the non-pharmaceutical, the traditional social countermeasures and strict quarantine to stop the transmission by coordinating worldwide to avoid the next tragedy.
