No populated place on earth is not suffering because of Covid-19 pandemic. This crisis is driving the world to a new start and different visions to many of our life aspects. The most common say now is "what before Covid-19 is not like what will be after".

Food security is one of the main issues to be considered now. Some countries have already put restrictions on exporting some of their agricultural crops and products and probably some other will follow if this crises kept ongoing for more than expected. adding to this the imposed restrictions on movement to control the spread of the infection, which reflect on the total production of every country, it is expected that agricultural production will be reduced. The final result will be food insecurity in some parts of the world.

So, Do you think that this will be a new alarm for some decision makers to start thinking about new strategies for food security in their countries? and how this will reflect on world food prices in the short and long terms?
