Yes, I consider them necessary since many teachers have the intention of doing research, but you have to have certain cognitive, linguistic resources that are necessary to do research, I mean in the case of having good reading skills to produce articles of scientific quality. The research professor must also have certain requirements referred to in the methodological part, specifically in terms of detecting and defining a research problem, because in this part the relationships between the variables or factors involved in the problem to be investigated are established and possible solutions are glimpsed.
