Hard ferrites have high magnetic anisotropy and soft ferrites show relatively low magnetic anisotropy values. When magnetic field is applied the orientation of spins in both phases will be different wrto B and also due to dipolemoment that each phase will have there might be interactions which depend on the amount of phase that is present and nature of distribution of phases within the compound.

Overall the effect might be a decrease in magnetic moment and coercive force than what is expected with pure W-ferrite phase.
