Each participant self-recruits and completes a survey at Time 1. Then the software sends him/her an e-mail with the second survey one week later (relative to the time of their first survey), then after a month, and after 3 months. I would very grateful for any suggestions how to run such a study. Suggesting any free software would also be appreciated.
You can do this with United States participants through Amazon's Mturk. You can have them take the initial survey, then give them all a qualification and only allow people with that qualification to complete the follow up surveys. There are more and less efficient ways to e-mail to alert them of the follow up surveys. If you pay them about $1 for a half hour survey, you will likely get about 50 people per day. They also have Mturk in Poland, but no one uses it, I did a survey there to test it and got 2 responses in 3 months.
Survey monkey is good, but I would also suggest having a look at qualtrics!
You can recruit workers on Mechanical Turk and follow up with them using TurkPrime.com. They are free for academics and support this and many more useful features for social science research.
