May I ask, have you worked with or do you have information on studies conducted using temporally ordered and/or spatially displaced haptic stimulation, for the purpose of reinforcing an artifical visual stimulus (particularly a vestibular-like pairing)? I am very interested in your work, particularly this article and "The effects of voluntary movements on auditory-haptic and haptic-haptic temporal order judgments." If you could please share more on using artificial haptic stimuli, and whether this may act as a paired reinforcer to a visual cue?

Dear Mounia, I would like to thank you and your coauthors for this, it is so very helpful and enlightening. The article pdf alone is invaluable, I have so many notes on it already it will take some time to explore all the possibilities. I see a growing suggestion in your work that saliency and agency work together to temporally reorder stimuli, perhaps toward elevating one's sense of self-attribution when advertency is involved. Would you say that might be part of the efference copy effect? I am hoping to see a means in this to elevate anticipation in those who have lost that sense in non-functional limbs, etc. The multimodal reference and TDU will save me much time as well.
