Recently I have been searching papers on serpentinite-related metasomatic rocks for my future research, and first I looked for references listed in "Serpentinites" by D.S. O'Hanley. This book mentions several researches on rodingites, albitites or jadeitites, however considerable number of these researches are a sort of case study. So I am confused about which is the most important work on these rocks. Therefore I want to have some recommendations from experienced researchers who have already worked with those rocks.
I could read Japanese or Russian, so I am glad if you recommend good publications from Japan or Russia.

I personally only dealt with albitites in terms of their use as U host rocks.
The pioneering work has been done by Russian geologists i during the last century. I got an English translation of their papers when I started my career in the U branch during the late 1970s.

altered by metasomatic processes, associated with
the introduction of

Ø calcium into these rocks
• Mineralogy: U-, Th-, P- and REE –bearing minerals
• Major examples : Espinharas deposit (Brazil) and the Zheltye Vody deposit , Michurinskoye, Vatutinskoye, Severinskoye, Zheltorechenskoye and Pervomayskoye deposits (Ukraine), Valhalla and Skal near Mount Isa (Australia), Srednaya Padma, Russia (U-V deposit, located on the Zaonezhskiy peninsula in Lake Onega) Srednaya Padma is a metasomatite (albitite) in shungite bearing schist. These deposits are bound to deep-seated lineamentary fault zones

• Th/U separation
• mantle-derived Th/U: 5/1
• crustal-derived Th/U: 1/1
• Th and U finely dispersed in volcanic glasses rich in halogenes
• U and halogens expelled during devitrification of glass while Th is retained
• oxidation of U 4+ >U 6+
• allows chemical separation of U and Th
• U 6+is removed with the gaseous phase as UF6 or UO2 2+
• U associated with fluorite
• (low Th/U ratio)
U-bearing albitized granites (e.g. Cameroon)
• Albite-uraninite paragenesis associated with the Panafrican Kitongo granite
• Partial melting of a granodioritic source rock produced a restite-bearing I-type monzogranite in the magmatic stage. The granite ascended synorogenically in tectonic structures and intruded volcanosedimentary rocks of upper amphibolite faciès.
• Residual late-magmatic melts is enriched in K or Na causing
• a first albitization which led to the replacement of plagioclase by albite, the alteration of hornblende to Na-Ca amphibole, and the formation of a Zr-Ce-La mineralization.
• a second albitization, the potassium feldspar component of the alkali feldspar and the quartz was replaced by albite and Zr, Ce, and La were introduced again. Remobilization of these elements also occurred. Riebeckite and aegirine were formed and partly altered.
• The hydrothermal phase of uraninite mineralization followed and two late-hydrothermal mineralization
• quartz-epidote-carbonate paragenesis
• sulfide mineralization
• U-albitite deposits are normally in S- and A-type granites. This explains differences between the Kitongo occurrence and the others, e.g. different uranium phases and a lack of enrichment of Sn, W, F, Li, Nb, Ta, and Y.
