We are looking for comparable data on (C)SR in different countries-for corporations in general and also for leaders in CSR (persons)? How to measure CSR in different countries?
Hallo! I can suggest 2 articles about SR index construction. They are available in our university net http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0956522108000821, http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0959652607001771
A recent research study (Gjølberg, 2009) argued that---presuming that a company''s institutional environment matters to its corporate social responsibility (CSR) strategy, this study aimed to contribute to the establishment of a more comparatively and structurally oriented framework for analysing CSR. To this end, the study developed two indexes: one measuring CSR practices and one measuring CSR performance in 20 OECD nations.
The index construction is based on a formative measurement model, reflecting the degree to which companies of certain nationalities are over- or under-represented in major, global CSR initiatives and rankings, relative to the size of their national economies. The two indexes reveal striking differences between the 20 nations, indicating a need to address the impact of domestic structures on CSR!
Moreover another research study (Pérez, & Rodríguez del Bosque, 2013) proposed a multistage method implementation to develop and to validate a reliable scale based on stakeholder theory. Results demonstrate the reliability and validity of this new scale for measuring customer perceptions regarding the CSR performance of their service providers. With regard to this, CSR includes corporate responsibilities towards customers, shareholders, employees and society. The scale is consistent among diverse customer cohorts with different gender, age and level of education. Furthermore, results also confirm the applicability of this new scale to structural equation modelling!

and in two other studies I have used the indicators that were most common among these ratings systems and frameworks to measure CSR performance [Developing a Fuzzy...] and perception [Linguistic Perception of ...].
