Why the intercept of multiple linear regression in R differ slightly from that in SPSS?

I have run a multiple regression analysis in R and SPSS and the intercept term is different in two outputs. Is there a difference in methodology? All possible answers are welcome!

How can I calculate the effect sizes of small samples (<20) for non-parametric tests Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney U?

I want to calculate the effect sizes of Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests. Can I use the formula r=Z/sqrt(N) when the samples are smaller than 20 (where N is all the observations) ?

Does SPSS always calculate the p-value of Wilcoxon and Mann-Whitney tests with a z-distribution approximation?

The output of SPSS gives z-score and p-value in any case. But If we have small samples we can't use z-approximation. Can we use the p-value of the output?
