I have received an email from a researcher, Nathan P. Clarke, via SciSpace, asking me for an article that I wrote in 2015, at the beginning of my PhD research into the words some and any. His reason was that he was "delving into grammatical structures" in his current research. I would like to be able to direct him towards my final PhD thesis in Coventry Uinversity Library: Towards a New Pedagogical Approach to Some and Any Based on Large-Scale Corpus Analysis. The reason for this is that I believe that he will be far better served by the final thesis, owing primarily to the detailed description of methodology and the provision of normalized frequency data on all uses of some and any. Unfortunately, I have been unable to send him a message on SciSpace, despite joining this network expressly for this purpose. I have written to SciSpace asking for help but have as yet received no reply. Does anyone know of a researcher currently working in the area of English grammar with this name?
