We have a 2011 updated book (portuguese/english) of Azorean chondrictians (it is downloadable from my profile in RG). In my profile you can also download some first records for this region, the latest (Alosa fallax) was published last January. Ask Paylo A. V. Borges (one of the co-editors) for a copy of the 2010 checklist of terrestrial and and marine organisms froim the Azores and other recent references for Macaronesia.
Dear Marcelo. In my first answer I forgot to mention that our book (Marine fishes of the Azores) is also downloadable from my profile. Although it is rather "old" (1997) it might be of use to you since it does discuss the Azorean ichthyofauna and presents an extensive bibliography list.
There is an online resource, a 2-volume set by Iglesias (2013) Actinopterygians (vol 1) and Chondrichthyans (vol 2) from the north-eastern Atlantic and the Mediterranean, available at this website (http://iccanam.mnhn.fr). There are versions in either French or English.
Hi. There is a very good checklist on the marine fish fauna of the Cape Verde Islands. I attach the pdf file of it, which is at free disposal in Internet and also here, in RG.
Hi again Marcelo. You can also find here (RG) a paper we published in 2008 in J. Biogeog.: Atlantic Reef Fishes: biogeography and evolution. It just might be useful for you.
Thank you all for the tips. Ruben, many thanks for the really fresh checklist. I need checklists of marine fishes for each country for additional check of species distribution and to complement the records I know from original papers or other types of reviews. For some countries I miss checklist and for some countries what I have is quite old. Anyway, since I work on gobies as fishes hard to identify I am very careful with checklists except for the common species.
Hi again. There is another interesting paper on the littoral fish fauna of the Selvagens Islands, situated between the Canaries and Madeira. You can download free of charge the full journal in question in this link:
The paper of Psomadakis et al 2012 (Mediterranean fish biodiversity: an updated inventory with focus on the Ligurian and Tyrrhenian seas - Zootaxa 3263:1-46) may be useful to you
