Looking for materials involving information (Basics to advanced) on Randomised Response Surface Methodology Designs for optimisation problems in engineering.
In our courses, we use: Understanding Statistics and Experimental Design (https://www.springer.com/gp/book/9783030034986), Experimental Design Research (https://www.springer.com/gp/book/9783319337791), and Experimental Design (https://www.springer.com/gp/book/9783319645834).
Combining these books provides a clear overview of this type of research to our students at a graduate level. Of course, we use them because our university is suscribed to Springer International Publishing.
D.G. Montgomery, Design and Analysis of Experiments, Wiley Publications. (https://www.wiley.com/en-us/Design+and+Analysis+of+Experiments%2C+10th+Edition-p-9781119492443)
True randomization does not exist, and it's not always suitable if you are studying non-homogeneous populations, because it may show zero population if study sites are placed where no species occur
I think a book on Response surface methodology: process and products optimization using designed experiment by Myers and Montgomery will help. Also find the attached file
