Can you recommend for an entomology researcher a decent cladogram on angiosperms or at least rosids or asterids (or fabids, malvids, lamiids, campanulids)?
I agree with Andrii's opinion. The APG programm of plant classification is appropriate and well acknowledged. The most recent APG III version is in attachment
For plant phylogeny (including plant algae, bryophytes, pteridophytes, gymnosperms and angiosperms): please refer to Brad R Ruhfel et al. (2014) paper entitled ' From algae to angiosperms–inferring the phylogeny of green plants (Viridiplantae) from 360 plastid genomes' ( BMC Evolutionary Biology201414:23 DOI: 10.1186/1471-2148-14-23) which can be viwed on web freely.
Update of APG III on the APG website (Stevens, 2001 onwards) will present a very comprehensive account on Angiosperm Phylogeny. As I was told by Prof. Mabberley during his recent visit to India, APG IV is going to see light very shortly, which might resolve gaps in APG III.
