in my opinion both theories are incomplete , the regurgation doesnot explain the distant endometrial tissue in lung for example , and the metastases from uterus isnot convincing , BUT what if both occur , like the tissue for some reason after mestruation ( maybe abnormal uterine contraction or wrong postion which lead the tissue to go to the fallopian tube and the peritonium) , and then when tissue reach the pretinoum , it find its way to blood vessel , and then metastasize, just a thought .
