Since they have much higher efficiency but need an efficient active cooling, what things should be achieved to make them the priority of the solar technology? Need more info for my study.

CSP is fine for space based systems as the solar spectrum is known accurately and is constant. This is FAR from true at ground level. It varies a lot with sun angle. Secondly, the cells used are usually multilayer and are tuned to a very specific colour temperature. ANY difference between the design spectrum and actual spectrum will lead to a remarkable loss in efficiency - it's equivalent to having cells in series with variable shading on them. Not a situation to be desired! Thirdly NO biological system I know of steers its solar collectors on a diurnal cycle - though some flowers may follow the sun, leaves don't on a DAILY basis. So I don't think CSP will be widely deployed technology on Earth. On the moon or Mars - well, ask Elon Musk..

CSP technologies have high efficiencies but on the thermal side. When converted to electrical energy, CSP efficiency matches with that of PV.
Both technologies have their advantages, so one can use CSP for thermal/heat demand and opt for PV to supply electricity.
Even then, I believe CSP has a little upper hand when it comes to application. CSP or in general, solar thermal technologies can be utilised for process heat, cooking, drying etc applications. Government and NGO should make more efforts to implement CSP technology for cooking purposes. Since many countries provide free lunch to school students, it's wide spread application will definitely have positive impact on environment.
