Required a spray or paint which can resist the heat flow between two steel block in physical contact. Working temperature is 250 degree celsius.
I suggest a ceramic coating similar to that used for ICEs' exhaust manifolds
There are many good paints that can operate at high temperatures, also resist corrosion. One example is Sperex (not sure if I've spelt it correctly). Difficulty is the thermal insulation part. Can you not use a different solid material for this part? There are several companies that provide insulation for aircraft gas turbines. Sadly, once you talk aviation quality materials, the costs climb. Ideally you should specify the thermal resistance that you need. Stephen.
