what type of data you are provided and what do you want as processed data?
The formula of Epidote as per https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epidote is
{Ca2}{Al2Fe3+}[O|OH|SiO4|Si2O7]
so, what kind of chemistry information do you want to extract from your sample? Relative percentage of metals or oxides? Composition in terms of end-members of certain series? or what else? Please specify.
XRF can directly give oxide percentage, you don't need much spreadsheet calculation unless you need to convert atomic % to mass% or vice-versa. With high-school level chemistry, you can conjure up spreadsheets on your own.
Thank you for your asnwer.I did microprobe analysis for epidote and its gave us result in Oxide wt.%.We need to calculate cations ration as apfu and also have to find the intesnisve parameter,i.e.,Tep,P,@ Sumit Bhowmick
This paper has some guidelines on mineral formula calculation of epidote-group minerals, including worked out examples:
Article Recommended nomenclature of epidote-group minerals
Getting from epidote composition to things like P and T is not something that can be done by looking at the mineral composition. It will be more challenging, requiring equilibrium thermodynamics modelling, or potentially not possible at all.
Thank you Mr.Michael for your reccomendation.I mean for the minerals like Amp,Bt claculated spreadsheets are avaialble, where we have to just put the values to get temp,P,H2O content,fO2 ,depth .I read a paper where they found T,P using EPMA result of epidote.
Hello, how are you, in relation to your question, I suggest you check the following website Hello, how are you, in relation to your question, I suggest you check the following website and you will find very useful information, among this, you will find an excel sheet

you will find an excel sheet can be used to recalculate mineral stoichiometry based on electron microprobe analysis for epidote, among others minerals
