It seems to me there is some kind of misunderstanding concerning this issue, as I have found out in literature reviews too contradicting data, but unfortunately, without strict basis/confirmation on/from "original" references. To be honest, I would like to get much more complicated properties such as correlations between the bond enthalpies and deviations from monocarbide stoichiometry...
