The Ophiuroid was found at a depth of 23 meters. It was brownish black and measured roughly 36 mm when spread (Arms and Central disc)
Observing the echinoderms morphological characters. I think it is Amphipholizona delicata which was first identified by H. L. Clark, 1915.
I would be grateful if someone could confirm the identity of the species and provide supporting data if available.

From the aboral central disc and oral central disc, your specie is very similar to Ophiopholis mirabilis (Duncan, 1878). but I am not quite sure.

I read through this publication:

And found that my specimen looked liked Ophiopholis mirabilis and Ophiopolis brachyactis execpt that in my specimen:
Any observations on variations observed in the two species that are similar to my specimen.
Is there any other reports that i could further read to be more aware of similar specimens ?
