I am unable to identify this fish.
I looked through
"Reef Fish identification, Tropical Pacific" by Gerald Allen , Roger Steene ,Paul Humann and Ned Deloach and then searched through Fish base.
I have closed in, to assume that the species might be a juvenile morph of Chrysiptera unimaculata .
I would be grateful if anyone could identify this fish.
This is Pomacentrus indicus Allen 1991 (family Pomacentridae). The species is known from India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Chagos Archipelago and Seychelles. It is found in lagoons and on reef slopes, at depths of 1-15 m.
