im trying to enriching methanogenic bacteria from wastewater sludge before i  isolating and identificating the bacteria.

i have found some litterature that said the methanogenic bacteria from the sludge could be enriched by using acetic acid as shortcut to enriching the sludge, as we know that acetic acid was main substrate for methanogenic bacteria. but in my litterature it doesn't said about concetration or molarity or the volume of acetic acid.

so, anyone have experience enriching the sludge using acetic acid?i wanted to know acetic acid concentration/molarity that used. or anyone have a paper about adding acetic acid as sludge enrichment?

thanks before
