Is it Megalodontes or Pamphilidae? How to distinguish them by larvae? The larva was collected in the Crimea, in solitary wasp cell (thus it is impossible to rear an imago).
This is a pamphiliid larva. There are keys but not in my memory this moment. Surf Internet or consult with, say, Определитель насекомых европейской части СССР т.3, ч. 6. If you have no, I may emal you a digital copy
Thank you very much. If it is pamphiliid larva I will search alive larvae on trees near the wasp nests, there was a single tree species, Prunus armeniaca, there, thus it will be easy to find them and to rear an imago.
Sorry, Alexander, don' take my words about Pamphiliidae too seriously: I don't know diagnostic charactgers of megalodontesid larvae. Please check this possibility as well
