I've tried the method of Dutasteride softgels for tablets but it did not work. I've also tried the dissolution method of Finasteride tablets for dutasteride but it didn't work either. Please help me with this product.
I think you need to first find out the solvent for Dutasteride. I think it should be either acetone, hexane or pet.ether. Grind the tablet(s) very fine and try to dissolve in the solvent. There would be some precipitate which would mainly consist of binders, light paraffin oil (needed in the granulation process in tablet making) etc.
Thanx a lot for your answer but where is the solution for the dissolution of these tablets and the method for dissolution. I need help with the dissolution method for dutasteride tablets.
The tablet can not be dissolved. I think if you are interested in the active component than, that can be extracted seperately and the rest can be discarded.
You can search in USP American pharmacopoeia for an official procedure. You can get the appropriate method, apparatuses, assay of the drug etc...........

Thank you for your answer. I would like to inform you that this method provided in the FDA database is for Dutasteride Softgels and not for tablets. I've already tried this method before and it did not work for my tablets.
