Hi, I am working on the design of a SHPGP and in this point I need to know some types of comercial controllers and diferent configurations for the voltage and current that I get from the generator.
If I need to get an off-grid system, what is the process that I have to do in the signal of generator? The speed of the turbine can vary, is necessary to use batteries?

I liked the diagram of popular turbine types! But the electrical behaviour of the system will depend critically on the type of generator used, and the control system will need to take this into account. What speed range do you anticipate the generator would need to work over, for example? I personally would choose field controlled 3 phase AC generator - rectifier - battery - AC invertor - Load. Because that isolates most of the critical functions and makes control easier. If you start compacting that arrangement control becomes more difficult. But good luck with your work!
