Please can anybady help me.
I'm working on connecting the USRP N210 to my laptop.
When I connect my USRP N210 radio to the NIC on my host computer directly with an Ethernet Cable status is Network cale unplugged (Realtek PCle FE Family Controller). I do not understand from which reason it happens.
USRP Radio hava a default IP address od 192.168.10.2. Also, sebnet mask is set to default (255.255.255.0). When I check windows - radio connection by ping command with IP address of the radio everithing is OK. But when I chech Subnet Values on Host and Radio connection Is not good.
Please help, what I'm doing wrong?

When you connect the USRP to your computer, the Windows usually shows "Network Cable is Unplugged" but it doesn't need it's not really connected.
You need to set up your machine IP address to:192.168.10.1 and subnet mask to: 255.255.255.0 then use "NI-USRP Configuration Utility" software to make sure your device is connected and/or change the IP address.

In matlab when I type a function findsdru (IPAddress - 192.168.10.2.), where IP Address is the IP address of a USRP radio, returns the following warning message: Not responding.
Possible Solution
This warning indicates that your subnet configuration is incorrect. For example, if the USRP® radio has an IP address of 192.168.10.2, but the host IP address is on another subnet and has an IP address of 192.168.X.1, where X is a number other than 10.
Correct the host IP address so that it matches the subnet value of the USRP® radio.
So, my question is how I can check subnet values of my host and subnet values of USRP N210 ?
You don't need to check the subnet mask value on USRP or it's better said you are not able to do it. Subnet mask is used to identify network address by performing a bitwise AND operation on the netmask. So that's the reason we set it as 255.255.255.0.
To change the subnet mask on your host PC, go to Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings, then right click on Ethernet icon and go to Properties > Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4). There you can change the IP address and Subnet mask as below:
IP address: 192.168.10.1
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

I set it up :
IP address: 192.168.10.1
Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
and:
ping 192. 168.10.2 in command prompt - and I get it (Packet: sent=4, Received: 4 , Lost: 0 (0%) - a picture send in file -Figure 1. - Check Windows - Radio connection
In second step: I ping 192.168.10.255 in command prompt and I get it (Packet: sent=4, Received: 0 , Lost: 4 (100%) ) - picture send in file - Figure 2. - Check Cubnet Values on Host and Radio
Also, when I type in MATLAB command line:
radios=findsdru
I get it status: 'Not responding' - Figure 3.
Also, when I set in command prompt: ipconfig I get it :
Ethernet adapter Ethernet: Media state - Media Disconnected - Figure 4.
What do you think is the problem?

first, I would not share my PC information on public.
Second, why do you look for 192.168.10.255? There is no device connected to your host at this IP address. USRP is the only device connected to your host PC at 192.168.10.2, that's why when you ping the IP address, you don't have any lost packets.
Third, for your Matlab issue check the below link out:

It seems it's a known problem from Ettus. I have not used Matlab to run USRP, I use LabVIEW for this purpose, but I will try later in Matlab to see what I get.

I couldn't verify Matlab communication with USRP because my laptop on which Matlab is installed doesn't have the Ethernet port and on the second laptop which has Ethernet port Matlab isn't installed. I can't install the Matlab but I'm going to post your problem in NI forum so hopefully someone will come up with a solution.

I haven't received any clear answer to your issue on NI forum so far, I was suggested to contact Ettus since NI software (LabVIEW) is not used. Have you ever contacted them?
