Dear All,

I am looking for a conductivity probe with a small volume of measurement and a relatively fast response to measure the local value of conductivity of a brine in order to estimate indirectly salinity and mass density. It should be fast enough to record a vertical profile once the probe is connected to a traverse system moving at, say 1 cm/s. I am aware of a miniature four-electrode conductivity probe described in a PhD dissertation by Michael Jay Head in 1983, University of California, San Diego. That probe or similar should fit to my needs. Does anybody know if this kind of probe is on market? Has somebody experience with such kind of probes?

Thank you in advance

Sincerely

Sandro
