Hello, I'm running the semiconductor simulation. I am ramping up my drain voltage value but at some higher values of voltage, when I run the model each time I get an error while simulating as "Convergence criteria of the nonlinear solver are met but not all linear solver conditions are fulfilled." Does any one meet the same problem? Any suggestion for solving this problem?
I have not met with the exact error. However, I can understand that your model must have some issues related to the parameters of the simulation. These issues arise from the following facts,
1. If you run a simulation for a shorter and longer time than the physical time scale of the operation.
2. If you insert parameters that are beyond physical space.
3. If your boundary conditions are mathematically discontinuous or have sharp changes.
These facts may not solve your problem. However, it may assist you in identifying the same. Good Luck.
It has been a few weeks since this question was asked, so I am not sure if you are still looking for an answer. For what it is worth, I have seen this error when the problem setup is under-determined. Without having your model to look at, it is difficult to say more. But given your description, maybe you need to define a reference potential at a point somewhere in your simulation? Or maybe you are missing some other boundary condition?
