Dear all,

I would like to use the Malachite Green Phosphate Detection Kit to measure inorganic phosphate, and the reaction buffer is supposed to be phosphate-free buffer.

Does any of you know a commercial buffer that I could use for my experiment? I would love to go for something commercial.

Do you think it is a good idea to try with just water or just TBS?

I have found some papers where they described using as a buffer MgCl2, NaCl, KCl, Glucose and HEPES.

In my hands the use of HEPES alone did not work, neither with the calibration curve nor with my samples.

I am using the Malachite Green Phosphate Detection Kit from R&D Systems, and I would love to hear if some of you know for any commercial kit in which all the components are already included.

I hope to hear back from you.

Thanks a lot in advance!

Anna
