The idea is haunting me since 2015 combining 2 physics experiences which are the young slits and photoelectric effect how ? The screen for Young slits will be a plate of Potassium and we vary light from red to blue smoothly and observ electrons mouvements and photons. I dont know what we obtain but I think that photons have mass which depends on frequency of the light.
Well, photons do not have any mass, but they have a momentum which depends on the frequency of light.
Wadï Mami, I don't know why you think electrons will be ejected before reaching the required frequency, because the ejection of electrons from their shells depends totally upon the frequency of light (i. e. kinetic energy of the photon which depends on frequency).
Though, in the double-slit experiment, wave interference changes the pattern of light (making multiple stripes instead of just two as total probability comes out to be (∮₁+∮₂)² instead of (∮₁)²+(∮₂)² as it should be with the particles.), it leaves the energy associated with each proton unchanged.
