The East India Company was the British trading mission sent to India, which became the precursor to the British colonial presence in the subcontinent, eventually gaining power and overthrowing the Mughals who ruled India at the time.

Pakistan is one of the country among the 74 countries covering under the belt and road initiatives (BRI). The part in Pakistan called CPEC is just a tiny part of the total investment in BRI. So, do you think that over 70 countries will be colonized by China. No, not at all, but for sure, if any country didn't take seriousness in the Chinese investments. The control and profit will automatically goes to China. But this is the style of investment like East-India company.
