Explaining fundamental phenomenal consciousness not only allows, but demands, a "new" field, as with unaddressed-by-physics phenomena before it. This field may turn out to explain other mysteries presently outstanding that only appear to be unrelated.

1. The consciousness field (the “sentonic” field) is new to us and separate from the others, or

2. the sentonic field is the same as the electromagnetic field, or

3. the sentonic field is the inflation field (which may also be the Higgs field), or

4. the sentonic field is the axion (which may also be dark matter), or

5. the sentonic field is dark energy. If so, most of the energy in the universe is consciousness.

6. fundamental consicousness is an aspect of all fields, e.g. of the single common stringy field.

Which do you suspect is correct and why?

That such a field must exist at all is covered in other writings and is not an in scope topic of this particular Question.
