In the vehicles, rollover and jackknifing are hazards threatening for the safety of drivers. Active safety technologies have been proved to be able to decrease or prevent the occurrence of these kinds of accidents. The performance of vehicles is not only dependent on the control algorithms but also on the accuracy of the measured variables by sensors.
That's an interesting statement. I wouldn't be surprised to hear such question two decades back. Since years the number of car accidents goes down, due to active safety utilities installed on board of our cars. In most of EU countries many of active safety features are mandatory to get approval for the vehicle distribution. What we can do more? develop active safety to make it as chip as possible to implement it not only in high end vehicles and THINK when driving. Videos, ect... are useless. Every drive should understand the responsibility for saving his/ her and the other persons lives.
