I am now working in Intermediate Band Solar Cells (IBSCs) using Quantum Dots (QDs) with different materials and different band alignments (Type-I and Type-II mainly).
Can you suggest any simulation tool that can assist me in my research ?

Intermediate Band Solar Cells (IBSCs) can be modeled with free-distribution software such as,
1. SCAPS : SCAPS is a one dimensional solar cell simulation programme developed at the department of Electronics and Information Systems (ELIS) of the University of Gent, Belgium.
2. AFORS-HET : Automat for simulation of heterostructures. Numerical simulation of Solar Cells and Measurements.
