I am currently framing my concept paper and I am in desperate need of suggested articles about teaching evolution and interactive multimedia in the Philippine science education context.
That's a bit vague for me to answer. But in terms of teaching evolution through interactive media the most I can think of are games like "Species: Artificial Life" and "Spore". However, if we're talking about scientific literature, Google scholar is a great resource and I saw an article about teaching evolution through lego blocks.
"Teaching evolution and interactive multimedia in the Philippine science" is an interesting and very specific topic. It may be hard but possible to find an article directly talks about teaching evolution and interactive multimedia in the Philippine science. to that topic particularly.
I will start with an initial search to get my feet wet with the topic. I will dig into general search and article and even wikipedia to learn about the topic and direct my (literature) accordingly. Wikipedia, although not a credible source due to its open collaboration model (anyone can edit it), is a great place to get an overview of your topic and find difference sources. It may or may not help for your particular topic. From your intial search, you may for instance find the first person who introduced interactive multimedia in Philippine. From that person you can learn so much more behind the topic and his/her influence on incorporating interactive multimedia in Philippine That's just a random example to illustrate how the importance of your initial search to direct you in finding credible sources thereafter and what topics you should include in your search.
The next thing will be breaking down the search when looking for scientific articles. Here is an example of the search I can make for your topic "" Instead of type that I can instead type these sentences: "Philippine science curriculum"; "Interactive multimedia in the Philippine"; "Teaching evolution in Philippine" etc. I will also use synonym say for interactive multimedia. If by "teaching evolution" you are referring to Darwin evolution, then I can do a search around the topic of religion and education in Philippine; or creation versus evolution in Asia and then I can go on being more specific based on the readings from the search. So I will play along to find alternative ways of searching and digging informations whose bits and pieces when combine will enable me to prove my point across with supporting facts.
Google scholar as mentioned by Alron is a good place to find information. Also, if your school has a system that gives you access to peer reviewed articles that is great and you will probably find articles from google scholar in there as well.
