Remove moss that is growing where and for what purpose? If you have some pH paper or a pH tester, check the pH of the media that the moss in growing in. Moss generally needs an acid environment, so if this is growing on a path making it slippery to walk for example, try a mild alkali like baking soda (Sodium bicarbonate).and see if it changes the pH enough that the moss cannot thrive.
The other option that may be cheaper than baking soda, would be rock table salt, like is used for water softeners and comes in big bags. With salt you need to make sure than run-off when it rains, does not kill plants next to the path, like lawns.
