I'm an undergrad student, I already have Principles of Physical Metallurgy book by Reed-Hill but it gives me headache in studying. Can you suggest other book? Please help.
Askland and Callister has written good introductory text for undergraduate students like Hamid has mentioned. Book written by Reed-Hill is excellent. There are many other good books on physical metallurgy that are available. You may try book by Smallman for example.
I can recommend the book "Phase Transformations in Metals and Alloys" by Porter, Easterling, Sharif (CRC Press). It is a standard text and is particularly clear and instructive.
