Your story related to emotional intelligence may show a situation, for example, in which you were, say, panicky or having anxiety, or felt unsafe, or threatened by someone, or in a provocative environment, etc. in which you saved yourself from an unhappy situation by controlling/regulating your emotions and managing them well. Or it may be about a situation where you became a victim because you could not control your emotions, and say became very angry or indulged in violence, or suffered a loss, etc.
