My student and I want to run an experimental study using a negotiation task. However, most of the negotiation tasks she's found involve either haggling over dividing amounts of money or complex computer-based activities.

We're looking for a negotiation activity that can be undertaken by two strangers, under supervision, within 5-10 minutes. The aim is to use the negotiation as a context for exploring other phenomena.

I remember being a psychology undergrad participating a negotiation role-play where the two players took on roles from two companies with different strengths and objectives planning to collaborate on a project -- can anyone point me in the direction of this one?

Otherwise, we're open to any other suggestions.

Thanking you in advance...  :)
