I am involved in a research project that uses a "Cleanness Rating" to compare interviews conducted by interviewers:
- trained in Clean (Language) Interviewing
and
- who use traditional methods of qualitative research.
I have data for the interviews conducted using Clean Interviewing methods; but I still need access to a number of traditional interviews. I need transcripts of complete interviews conducted in English by different interviewers – preferably from research projects that have been published (or are part of recognised research programs, e.g PhDs).
Anonymity of all interviewer and interviewees is guaranteed.
Can you help, or do you know where I can access interview transcripts? Many thanks James
I think that you should look for websites with published doctorates, find the author's email, and start having a one on one conversation, as this is a very sensitive issue of protecting the participants in the research, ethical consideration, etc. It has to be negotiated carefully case by case.

I will adopt your approach if necessary. I recognise that there are ethical sensitivities involved and I need at least 15 interviews . As you can appreciate negotiating them one by one will take an enormous amout of time for a part-time researcher such as myself. I am hoping that I can find some projects that have a number of interviews by a number of interviewers that are willing to engage in a batch agreement.

However, my question is about how to obtain acess to research interviews so I can run my comparative analysis on the kinds of questions asked by different interviewers.
