Supercapacitors, also named electrochemical capacitors, can be devided into electrical double-layer capacitors (EDLCs) and pseudocapacitors. The hybrid supercapacitors often consist of two elecrodes with different energy storage mechanism, e.g. one electrode is pure EDLC, another one is pseudocapactive.

No! Hybrid supercapacitors are one of the types of supercapacitor that combine the other two types of supercapacitor i.e. EDLC and pseudocapacitor or their subtypes such as Pseudocapacitor+EDLC (Electric double-layer capacitor) as the name suggest hybrid also as it is hybrid it can work as both charge storage via electrostatically (EDLC) as well as electrochemically (Pseudocapacitor).
Ganesh Raju Supercapacitor is a general term. A hybrid supercapacitor is a particular type of Supercapacitor in which one electrode has an EDLC type charge storage mechanism and another one has Faradic.
