First of all the DHM is based on phase relation ship formed from the object and the reference wavefront. Basically it is an interference pattern. Meaning the light source is an highly monochromatic and coherent. Second, auto-luminescent in the cells (kindly correct me if i am wrong) are usually have a broad spectrum of emission. They are something similar to molecular spectra. Now the Zeeman effect, it is based on splitting of line spectra into its components under the action of magnetic fields. If a sample has degeneracy, it is manifested as the splitting in the spectra when observe under the action of magnetic field. If at all cell's auto-luminescent has such degeneracy in it, i doubt that it will show any splitting if you use zeeman effect for your characterization of the samples.

Nevertheless if the setup and infra are readily available, you might as well just try the experiment.
