Yes, we can use such amines. It is because Zn atom of ZnO NPs has two vacant orbitals of 4p so that two alkyl amine molecules (R-NH2) become possible to bind with the Zn atom through covalent coordination bonding forming (R-NH2)2ZnO NPs.
