I am using MLQ (multi factor leadership questionnaire). Is it justifiable to use only follower version of MLQ for data collection about transformational leadership and transactional leadership styles?

i have discussed this issue with few of the academician and they suggest me that we can use the follower version of MLQ for data collection purposes.
